We completed laying the pavers for the entrance and center rosette today. Next week we will pour the concrete perimeter and place the donor bricks. Five pedestal mosaic benches will surround the labyrinth to complete the project. Janice Hofmann from All Fired Up is creating the mosaics representing Chico tree leaves. We hope to have the dedication to the community the week of November 7th... look for our announcement.

Chico Community Labyrinth: Coming Fall 2011
The Chico Community Labyrinth Project is excited about partnering with the Rotary Club to install Chico's first permanent public outdoor labyrinth. We are closely approaching our target goal to purchase a 32 ft. Chartres style labyrinth kit made of concrete pavers. Rotary has volunteered their services and support in making this a community built landmark for Chico. We have set our date for construction for October 2011.
We have continued to obtain donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations and recently secured pledges for additional contributions to help us near our funding goal. Take this opportunity to become a part of the labyrinth project through giving a donation. You can participate in the project by donating as little as a $100 for a donor brick. Gift certificates are also available and make a unique gift for graduation, birthdays, anniversaries, and memorials.

Labyrinth Project Update
The Chico Community Labyrinth Project (CCLP) has successfully raised nearly a quarter of its estimated costs. We have revised our original vision and reduced our project costs from $70,000 to $35,000. With the support of the community we can buy a quality kit and have local volunteers assist in construction of the labyrinth.
We welcome your continued support and donations and thank everyone who has contributed to this future landmark for our community.
